Hugh jackman tried his best in this role but it just didn’t work for him. The way they recorded and prepared for this was so ridiculous, so his role was bound to fail. This just didnt do him any justice. All the parts where he’s supposed to be quiet or calm he starts belting out the lyrics and it ruins the mood Anne Hathaway did great in her scene, but she didn’t learn how to sing without crying. There’s a way to look like you’re crying while singing. They shouldn’t have sang this live. They should have just used a recording over them and that wouldve solved all of the problems with the music
