whats freaky is i was in a catholic school for all of junior high and our library banned books that were deemed “unsavory” for kids and those books were definitely on the banned list. but one day coming back from a school event on the bus in the pitch black a random kid who i cant remember their name or face told me to read the book they brought with them and it was this damn book dude and i remember opening up the book to that pale womans picture exactly. never saw those books since or that kid so yeah hate it thanks!

The first i watch of this channel was the final destinations movies and I new this was for me

When I saw this movie, two scenes really got me. The Big Toe and The Red Room. Most of the fear of The Big Toe came from there being a jump scare, but they waited a long time for it, while also making you question from what side of the bed it would be coming from. So it was good tension build up. And The Red Room to me, resembled my slight claustrophobia.

@Pretty Much It Google is very biased in terms of what they show you and what they don't show you. As an independent, I want to hear from you why you hate him! Because I get the feeling you potentially misinformed about the guy. A lot of what I have seen of the guy has been cut or altered in a way to make him appear far more vial than he actually is! I remain neutral on the situation but am more inclined to see Trump as a better president than he's been displayed by the likes of Google, MSM and social media. i read the books religiously in elementary school so my best friend and i watched the movie in theaters on my 16th birthday as a nostalgia thing. there were definitely some creative liberties taken but i thought it was really a cool unique take on the stories. i wasn’t disappointed, which is unexpected— most of the time book/movie adaptations suck lol (but that’s just my opinion, people have a right to dislike it, too)

I used to color in the pictures in the books and give them to my favorite teachers is elementary school. Also, my husband has a hard time finding movies he really likes but when rented this one he had a smile on his face the whole time. He loved it and I was so glad. We watched it 4 times in the 5 days we had it. And when he dropped it off he ended up buying 3 copies. One for us (of course) one for his BFF and one for his nephew. Of course his nephew wasn't as excited but his BFF. they watched it then stayed up till 2am reading my copies of books and talked about it. The next morning they teased me that I colored in the pictures lol but it made me so happy to see him that way though.

The spider bite zit exploding is gross beyond measure, but thank god it didn't look like the illustration from the book, that was the worst thing about it.

I never read scary stories to tell in the dark, so this movie doesn’t hit quite so hard for me which makes me sad, but I did read goosebumps and will never forgive how unscary the movie was when Slappy made me sleep in my parents bed for a WEEK because of the nightmares

I was just on a website with all of the scary stories from the books and I saw something. When I clicked on the Pale Lady/the Dream story (the red room), it had the picture from the book above the writing so you had to scroll down to read the rest of the story. As I was scrolling down, the woman's eyes opened. They fucking opened. When I took my finger off the cursor I had already passed the picture completely. Wide open. I realised very quickly that this was probably a special animation used for some of the artwork but yeah. Shit fucked me up for a minute. I went back up to the pic and watched it change back and forth for a while. P.S.: None of the other pictures moved.
