I'm a Bostonian and I wish I knew about this movie before. I both hate it and am in love. Edit: I am however pissed that the whole thing wasn't caused by an ancient curse. The set up for it was perfect. Use the Plymouth Rock angle more instead of what the thing happened to pick up by circumstance.
